      Today, I did mind mapping in Principles of communication. The mind map can help me for guideline in Final test. It has included chapter 3 to chapter 8. I think it that did be difficult because I read again and again many times, but I get it beginning to start the second time and more understanding than the third time. I expect to get A or B in principle of communication. I concentrate doing the final exam. I can do it.

Creating Communication Climates

     Today, I learned in chapter7. I thought it interesting this Chapter that is about Creating Communication Climates. Levels of Communication and Disconfirmation deal with recognition, acknowledgment and endorsement. Defensive and Supportive Climates deal with Evaluation versus Description, Certain versus Provisionalism, Strategy versus Spontaneity and others. They are detail that I don’t understand it, but in Guidelines for Creating and Sustaining Healthy Communication Climates  are about interpersonal confirmation between person that have many others such as respect  diversity among people and others

Adapting Communication to Cultures and Social Communities

         This Chapter8, I understand it about Relationship between Culture and Communication. For example, before you have a new friend that you should have basic in good relationships such as smile, cheerful and other positive behavior. Engage in Person-Centered Communication learned about values and norms in culture or social community. For example, if you don’t understand what speaker other says or does, ask them to explain. This shows that you are interested and respect their experience.

       I learned about Chapter 6 that is listening and responding to others. First, the Listening Process deals with mindful. Mindfulness is focusing on what is happening in the moment. Physically Receiving Communication is about hearing sounds, interpreting nonverbal behaviors and read lips. Second, Obstacles to Effective Listening is about situation obstacles. For example, we have interaction, if you want to listen effectively, reduce environmental distractions. It’s considerate to turn off notifications for e-mail, text, and other applications and to lower the volume on music if someone wants to talk with you. Develop Skills for Informational and Critical Listening has the steps. The first step in listening is being mindful. Control obstacles can minimize distractions. For example, you might shut a window to block out traffic noises or adjust a thermostat so that the room’s temperature is comfortable. Ask Questions can help you understanding that you can ask speakers to clarify their messages.

            Today, I have midterm test. I can do it. I used the mind map that it is useful for me, and I'm lucky to write the guideline for using in test. I used the time about half an hour. I thought Part 2 that is difficult because I must analyze it and read again and again.

How to be a better student

       The students have differentiation such as physical, thinking, and habit. The most important is good in order to develop social. The good student should have polite, honor, and honest. We are cultivated when they were child by parent. For example, the students don’t lie to mistake something. When they choose in positive that the adult should give the reward in school gives the good student for model. The bad students have aggressive, lying, and dishonored. For example, the students have habit when they mistake something that they have illogical such as arguing with the teacher using emotional situations and yourself a favor.

 On average, people in my country today live to be about 65 years

        On average, the people live about 65 years old in Thailand, but someone have age more than 65 years old that is called “Pu Thuat” form reported by channel 3. His name is Mr. U-Hood Vang Clan. He is 120 years old. I think he living longer because he live at the nature and like to eat vegetable and fish that he get strongly. In social of Thailand, you can retire in 60 years old as opposed to other countries to retire 65-70 more than years old because of healthy people more and more. “What do people do after they retire?” I think they maybe do handcrafts because they have to increase the income. Because there are more retired people, it must be treated by family. For example, Everybody of family always meet with retirement.

Advantage of one kind of technology

          Almost 90% would like technology. I think technology the most important at present because they are unavoidable usage.  Everyone is going to focus on technology. For simple example, I believe that everyone knows the cell phones even children such as Iphone 5S, Galaxzy S5 and many others. They are gotten the high technology that the human used it for convenience in order to use internet for instant. In addition, everyone is familiar with computer. In the past it has been used only critical tasks such as scientist and the large organizations, but it contrasts at present that have many to use diverse computers. For example, the tablets are designed to take in easy and have low weigh that they use internet and other programs. Finally, technologies are developed suddenly, but it has dis advantage that if you use it in negative, it has disadvantages which have been social and others.

          If you want to study in USA, here are a few rules that will help you. First, you practice English Language in good level by yourself. For example, you have the emergency situation you need to help from other people that can be good English language. Second, you should be courteous in order to make oneself known to new friend. Finally, you should concentrate in class because of every minute counts.

           I use it to iphone 5 that it was the most popular last year but the most popular cell phone's Apple company is iphone5s. The iphone 5 has advantage that is smart and model. It has very high technology such as ios7, touch screen, and camera. It is produced from Apple company and has high price (approximatly 24,500 Baht). Although it has high technology but it has disadvantage that run out faster than battery other band.

Today, I will write about on weekend. I was relaxed. I have 3 days for weekend. On Friday, I read a book or Midterm exam. I thought to read 3 subjects, but I read only one subject that is Principle of Management. On Saturday, I went to go Bangsean Vintage Event at Bangsean Walking Street. I listened to vintage music since 1970. I was happy and miss my father because my ffather would like to listen to music. On Sunday, I went to Rayong as it was. I felt sleepy because I returned late to Apartment. That day I was tired and sleepy.

Symbolic Systems and Meanings

         Today, I learned to reading about symbolic systems and meanings. A symbol is a sign or object that represents something else. The symbolism of food is cultural rule. For example, the nuclear family is the units that regularly eat together. The Symbolic and Social Meaning of Space was used about social groupings and social relationships. For example, The Symbolic is gotten in a village in northeastern Thailand, space in a house is divided to symbolize not rank, but rules about marriage. The sleeping room is the most sacred part of house. Symbols, Politics, and Authority are sign to difference. For example, the combat between symbol animals—the eagle and the bear—was used by political cartoonist to portray the conflict between the United States and the former Soviet Union. In the 1960s in the United States, all men in authority had short hair, I learned about vocabulary check and other.

ESP Week7 Orangutans

Orangutans

     Today, I will write about my ESP class. In chapter 2 is about Physical Anthropology. I learned about monkey. Orangutans in Borneo and Sumatra are both difference and similar. Orangutans live in the hot, wet forests of Sumatra and Kalimantan, in Borneo. Kalimantan orangutans are reddish-brown in color, while their Sumatran cousins are a paler, ginger color. Kalimantan orangutans also have coarser hair. Orangutans have similar of food such as they have a varied diet fruit, bark, leaves, and insect. They find food primarily by moving about in the canopy. Orangutans have complex brains and are highly intelligent. One orangutan in particular, living at the Schonbrunn Zoo in Vienna, Austria, has shown special talent as a painter. Her name is Nonja. She is very outgoing with humans. She can draws and colors. The prices for original artwork by Nonja are about $323.00 to $2,584.00. I think that it fantastic monkey.

          This week 7, I did a mind map same last week. I learned about Non- verbal communication Guidelines and Listening and Responding. For example, Non- verbal communication are about gesture and body language such as eye contact and others. Behaviors are about personal such as touch, face, body, smell, perception, environment and physical appearance. Each 1 Topic is about Listening and Responding. Principles have 4 topic that are being mindful, physically receiving, selecting, organizing, and interpreting communication. Obstacles are situation and internal. In this chapter are directly to develop other skill such as Informational, Relationship and listening goals.

       This week 6, I did a mind map for midterm. Mind map have 4-5 layer. I think that good for me. I can perception in detail in class with short time. I understand in chapter 1-7. For example, Personal life is relationship such as mom, dad, friend, boyfriend, and girlfriend. Define Communication is about process is method of culture, System is a complex of methods or rule that are about governing and behavior. Symbols is language of communication such as, sign language and others. Meaning is that sometime, understanding is difference meaning because of area. Communication (Models) is about Sender, Receiver, Noise, Feedback, Context and others. Intrapersonal Communication is self-talk such as in meeting. Interpersonal communication is talking between person.

Engaging in Verbal Communication 

      This week 5, I was learning about communication in chapter 4. Engaging in Verbal Communication is about language. Arbitrariness is arbitrary that it’s represented meaning of language. I understand it by reading a book in for example in a book that is represented the term chat room has no natural relationship to virtual spaces for online interaction. Ambiguity is ambiguous language. I understand it because it has direct meaning. In communication is not clear meaning. Abstraction is abstract language that is about idea, thinking, feeling and others. Punctuation is important in communication. I think that is punctuation to affect in meaning. If you pronounce are not clear, it will change meaning, and I don't understand in the other topic. I will read it again.

WS Week 7 I went to go home on weekend.

My dog name is Tame

            I went to go home in Samutprakarn. I was happy that I was looking forward to come back my home on weekends. Last Thursday, I left from Bangsean to Bangkok about 2 hours because of traffic jam, but I smiled then went to Central World. I bought a bag. Next, I got on bus. I arrived at my home. My dog was very happy when I arrived. He jumped on me and I hugged my dog.  Next day, I woke up early in the morning, and I baked cookies that are called “Kha Nom Kilb Lum Dwn”. I gave my family tasting it. Everyone called to me that it was delicious. It was fantastic time. I will bake it again on next weekend.

     Last Monday I went to Wat Tal Lom near the Nongmol Market with my friend. I saw many interesting things. I walked around the temple for about 2 hours. I saw some dessert that is called “Kha Nom La”. I thought that returned to buy to walk out. After, I walked the amusement park zone inside the temple. I want to play when I was child. After, I was hungry, I bought strawberries. They were delicious. After, I return bought the Kha Nom La. I saw the woman baking for a long time. She has a lot of experienced. Finally, My friend and I walked to the exit. My friend bought Nham. IT was fragrant. I asked my friend to eat after that my friend rode her motorcycle to the dormitory. I was very happy. I hope that if will come again next year.

WS Week 5 I went to Khao Kho with my family

        Today, I will write about the BUUIC holiday in last semester because I miss my family. In last holiday, I was very happy. I went to Khao Kho in Phetchabun with my family. Before I would get destination, I visited my uncle in Phichit. My family and I congratulated my sister that she has gotten Bachelor from Naresuan University. I wil go to Khao Kho tomorrow. We have 10 people in the trip that have my uncle’s and my family. We had arrived Khao Kho in the afternoon. We offered Praboromthadjedee Golden Pagoda. We stayed at Rock Terrace Resort. It’s a beautiful place. It has famous of cold and fog in early morning. I need to see the fog that I got up in early morning. It’s fantastic. I love it and I will come back again.

ESP Week 5 Feng shui

  

Feng shui 

 I learn about feng shui that is believe in personal. Feng shui is adopted building standard that entered from ancient Chinese. It has concerned with lucky that architect design building to encourage in order increasing the “positive energy”. It is called “chi” that meaning is energy of life. According to feng shui tradition, positive chi is influenced by such things as the floors in hotel are belief that hasn’t 13 floors. They had changed it then called 12A floors. These are belief of personal. My friend also believes feng shui. For example, I ask my classmate that her name is Muay. She thinks “When she saw the dog that her has lucky” because I think that she love the dog very much. 

POC Week 4 Perceive

      In Principles of Communication class, I think I have greater understanding in Unit 3. My teacher says that this subject is not difficult, but I think I’m not some questions. For example, the question 4 “How can you improve your perception?” that my situation If I did not know them, I would not join or ask. I think I perceive them are so far that saw face. So I think it still does not 100%, but I choose to ask people who have never known that I think them have discursive. In addition, I think I’m understand in Unit 3. Next Week, I learned this as well.

WS Week 4 Working in Rayong

Working in Rayong

While I'm a student at BUUIC, I also work on weekend in Rayong. I get up at 5 a.m. that It's early morning for me. I get in a van at Nongmon Market before 7 a.m. I arrive at Cool English School about 9 a.m. every Sunday. I teach my students in Phonic 2  class. My students are  about 5-13 years old. I love my students. They are lovely and inexperience. They like talking and laughing with me. I'm cheerful every weekend. 

ESP Week 2 It's nice to meet you.

 It's nice to meet you.

          In my life, I will choose to do good or bad something, depending on thinking myself. For example, I'm greeting a new friend. I help people in society. I feel cheerful when meeting with foreigner. All of these are choose to do it frequently. Today, in class has enjoyed. I talked with my friend about greeting. I think that is important in my life. Every day I meet many people. I think that greeting is important. I have to practice it every day that begin my classmate.

     Today, I will write about the library in BUUIC. The first time I went there I though that it was boring, but this is wrong. The library is the best place to learn. It has learning from around the world. Particularly, the library in BUUIC is the best and fantastic for me. English in Airline business is the name of a book. I like it because it has necessary knowledge for my dream job. In the future, I want to be an Air Traffic Controller.  It uses English communication for the job. Therefore, the library in BUUIC is excellent! 

POC Week3 Perceiving and Understanding

I understand about perception that is the active process of selecting, organizing, and interpreting. Selection is like to choose. For example, Music band have guitar, piano, bass and drum. You choose one in musical. Organization is created for people. For example, Music have many types, such as pop rock and bossa music, all of music depended to create. Interpretation is explanations, For example, You like drum that you should explain that "Why do you like drum?". Influences on Perception is about physiologiocal factors, expectations,cognitive abilities, social roles and others. Physiologiocal Factors is about vital, such as, body, thinking and the other human. Expectations is the feeling  that something is about to happen and hope. Cognitive Abilities is thinking for learning and reasoning. Social Roles is action and activities yourself in community.

POC Week2 Ethics

Ethics

         This week is difficult because I didn't understand if I would get to translation. My teacher talk about ethics. It's about " What's right and What's wrong", such as I want to go with my friend. I would ask for permission my parent that say Yes or No.  I should not ask my parent because I think my parent disallow to me go to with my friend. Ethics are concern with moral principles. Therefore, it's important in communication. For example, The judgments of ethical communication is the most important because we should talk the truth in court in order to get justice.

WS Week 2 BUUIC

Computer Lab at BUUIC

         Computers are important and necessary in life. Almost 90% for people spend times to use computer same to me. I always use my computer with chatting, following, searching and watching around the world, such as, News, Movie and others. So It's necessary for learning. I think if don't have my computer and internet, I would disappear for something.

ESP Week 1 I want to Grade.

I believe everybody want to get grade A, but It's hard. I try to study and diligent in my class so that get grade A. I want to get grade B+ that I think it be possible if I would to complete this subject. I have not good in English language. However, I will try hard and intend to study in class.
             A lot of ourselves have in classroom.
1. On time - You should have responsibility and on time. Don't be late.
2.Concentration - You should't speak with your friend.
3.Responsibility - You should responsible all the class.

POC Week 1 I didn’t understand in the last class.

The communication is subject in spring semester. I studied about listening, writing, reading and especially speaking that is important in this subject. I add the Principles of Communication and my teacher name is Aj.Charlton Thomas Bruton that his very kind-hearted and cheerful. I’m glading with my subject , but I have a problem about English language. I’m training myself. I think this subject is hard, but I think that I can do. In Principles of communication have many problems for myself that sometime not understands in speaking and listening. I didn’t understand my teacher because I have not well in English. I sovled a problem . I ask my friend about Reflection Topic. I read the question again and again.

WS Week 1 Food

Food

I love food and I believe you are the same as me, because everybody likes to eat a lot of food, such as sea food, noodles, fried foods, cooked to order and dessert. When I’m hungry I have no idea what to eat because I’m bored of the same food over and over. My friend and I have thoughts of eating so we have tried to change the place to eat. We went to patrol around Bangsean, and we started at Soi Sodsai. This place has many “cooked to order” restaurants. Next week, I will tell you more about these restaurants.
